I have been a fan of Jane
Austen and her novels for as long as I can remember. I have developed that
interest into a fascination (OBSESSION?) with the Regency period in all its
aspects: cultural, artistic, literary, social, political, and military. Above
all, I love the personal stories found in journals and memoirs of the period.
I am an active member of the Jane Austen
Society of North America and a speaker at AGMs in Toronto, Milwaukee, Tucson,
Portland, and Fort Worth.
