Georgette Heyer
British author Georgette Heyer (1902-1974) wrote more than 55 novels of
varying kinds. She is perhaps best known for her fiction set in Regency
England, 24 wonderful stories of romance and adventure with memorable
characters and scrupulously researched settings. For more information on

In December 2002, we are reading Lady of Quality, published in 1972, her
last Regency-set novel. Here are three covers it has carried in its thirty
